Brief

ZEC-series multimedia language teaching system, one of the multimedia series developed under the cooperation with East China Normal University, is in conformity with all the specifications for AAV/AACV language studying equipment. It uses advanced computer multimedia technology and modularized design to have nicely combined the characters, figures, images and sound. The high performance video system offers high quality VCD and TV sound image, making language studying more lively and teaching methods more colorful. The system can carry out screen, listening or written examination, and can produce browsing, backup and printout of examination results. The system adopts platform in Chinese and mouse control to make operation and maintenance quite easy.

Main function

1. Instruction to the whole class: teacher can give instructions to the whole class.

2. Individual conversation: teacher can choose 1~8 students to have two-way conversation.

3. Group-to-group discussion: teacher can organize the class into two groups for dialogue, and hemay attend one of them.

4. Monitoring on individuals: teacher can monitor the studying of a certain student.

5. Cyclic monitoring: system can automatically monitor the studying of the whole class according to the monitoring time set by the teacher.

6. Group teaching: the system will organize the whole class into four groups to carry out teaching of different programs.

7. Teacher's episode: when it is playing the teaching contents, or when students are in group-to-group discussion, teacher can have explanations to the contents, or take part in the discussion of students.

8. Call response: teacher can get to know the calls from students through the screen of master console, and can answer their calls.

9. Auxiliary program: connected to CATV or video to play high quality VCD/DVD, or connected to internet, and to deliver the sound and image to students.

10. Self-studying function: when teacher presses the function key of self-studying, student can choose freely the four programs at the master console through the terminal.

11. Remote control to master recorders: teacher can control the status of the two master recorders.

12. Remote control to student's recorders: play, quick forward, quick back, pause, stop and record under control.

13. System reset: teacher can go back to the initialized state at any time.

14. Demonstration teaching: the conversation between individuals, the discussion between groups and the contents monitored can be demonstrated to all the students in the class.

15. Examination function: teacher can choose online examination,

standard examination or listening examination, the system can carry out real-time statistical analysis, browsing and printout to the examination results.

16. Digital recording: A) Put the teaching tapes in class into digital and have it saved into hard disc, and you can operate the hard disc next time, which is fairly convenient and no wearing.

B) Bookmarks, repeated and follow-up reading of sentences or passages can be set up freely, the parameters can be set by teacher freely.

Examine analyze system

The system is provided with functions of online examination, standard examination and listening examination, and can carry out analysis, evaluation or statistics to the examination result. And it can set standard answers to the examination. Before examination paper being collected, students can choose answers freely. After being collected, teacher can mark the paper on site, produce analysis on results, store and print the paper, and publicize the results.
